Alliance For Historic Hillsborough  An organization dedicated to preserving, enhancing and increasing awareness of the historical and cultural heritage of Hillsborough for residents and visitors. The Alliance operates the Orange County Visitors Center in Hillsborough.   


Burwell School Historic Site  An historic house museum located in Hillsborough that preserves and interprets the history of its antebellum and Civil War era residents.   


Hillsborough Arts Council   An organization whose role is to meet the arts and cultural needs of the Hillsborough community through a diversity of initiatives and services.   


Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce  The voice of the business community in Hillsborough and Northern Orange County.    


Ayr Mount Historic Home  An 1815 Federal-style plantation home offering guided tours and the self-guided “Poets’ Walk.”  


Trading Path Association   A non-profit corporation with the purpose of  preserving, promoting and study the historic Trading Paths of the Southeastern Piedmont, which run through Hillsborough.   


Occaneechi-Saponi Tribe  The Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation is a small Indian community located primarily in Orange and Alamance counties.
